Environment Committee

Keeping with the Ignatian tradition of being people for others, our ministries are an opportunity to put our faith into action while building community. We invite you to discern how to share your gifts with others!

Our Environment Committee was formed in 2006 after several parishioners expressed concern about our environmental footprint. The group guides policies and procedures that could reduce our impact on the environment, and shares their interest in protecting our earth through these objectives:

1) Provide education to the parish community to increase awareness of the environment and how we impact it.

2) Promote the use of environmentally friendly alternatives and ethically sourced supplies.

3) Encourage the three R’s — reduce, reuse, and recycle — in church, school and the community to reduce our impact on the environment.
